Hotel Posta Review
The elegant 3-star Hotel Posta enjoys an excellent location right in the centre of Palermo and a 5-minute ride from the grand 9th century Norman Palace, where guests can improve their historical consciousness. Boasting snorkelling, diving and canoeing together with a 24-hour bar, the romantic hotel is located in walking distance from Massimo Theater.
A buffet breakfast is available each morning at the hotel. You can relish American cuisine at FUD - Bottega Sicula located a short distance from this Palermo property.
The domed Norman-era Martorana Church is a mere 9 minutes' stroll from the family-friendly property which is also approximately 5 minutes' walk from the 14th-century Oratory of the Rosary of St. Cita Church. Posta Palermo is stationed in vicinity of Regional Archeological Museum Antonio Salinas.
The elegant accommodation is situated within 1.2 km from the architecturally diverse church "Cattedrale di Palermo", and Piazza Don Sturzo bus station lies a mere 10 minutes' walk away.
There are air-conditioned rooms at this Palermo property, some of them feature Sky TV channels as well as private bathrooms fitted with a bidet and a shower. These units also have tile floors.
Hotel Posta is near a boat dock.
Leisure options include a sun terrace and a shared lounge offered for a surcharge. There is also cots and a buggy for children.
Impressions
Upon arriving at the Hotel Posta, I was greeted with a warm welcome drink by the friendly receptionist. As I checked in, I noticed that the hotel offered a range of services including room service, car hire, dry cleaning, housekeeping, laundry, and airport shuttle.
During my stay, I also took advantage of the hotel's tours and ticket assistance to explore the local area. I particularly enjoyed the happy hour events hosted by the hotel, which offered a chance to mingle with other guests and try local drinks and snacks. Overall, my experience at the Hotel Posta was greatly enhanced by their excellent services and hospitality.
